Aspiring millers take the millers exam at the smock water mill of Kockengen in front of a committe of experts, a.o. chairman Prince of the millers guild. They rotate the body of the mill with to face the wind, cover the sails with sailcloth and let go of the brake. Also with the city gristmill De Gooyer in Amsterdam, mills at the Zaanse Schans in Zaandam and other mills.
