Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
To determine the best Dutch hairdresser, a contest is being held between 33 women and men hairdressers in Amsterdam. A male hairdresser from Alkmaar and a female hairdresser from Waalwijk eventually win the first prize. SHOTS: hairdressers are working on men and women haircuts; the jury assesses the women haircuts; the British hairdresser Joshua Galvin and three models presenting his work. STATEMENTS (off-screen) of a barber who tells why he likes hairdressing as much as he does.
