A contest of treasure digging is held on the beach of Egmond aan Zee to celebrate the 100-year anniversary of the St. Vincentiusvereniging from Alkmaar. SHOTS: - Shots of the preparations on the beach, one day before the contests: three mysterious looking men waiting for the right time in which a policeman is specifically not looking to burry their casket beneath the sand; - shots of the contests: participants signing up at a table; on the beach, decorated with flags, boys and girls, men and women and one dog are digging about in the sand; - the finders of the treasure, the cousins Zwart(?) from Egmond, are celabrated by the crowd and are being carried away.
