Week number 48-44
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
A number of men are gathered in a room in Zwolle. They all get one cigar. On the startsign all men light their cigar and start smoking. It is a match in which the participants try to get the longest ashes on their cigar. The participants, as the match goes along, all held their cigar as vertically as possible. Whenever somebody loses his ash the judge starts to measure the length of the ashes.
