A depression causes fog and thaw. A lonely skater skates on the canal, the inland vessels work their way through the frozen canals. The Christmas lights in the shopping streets are already on. A train passes a level crossing. The mist and the iciness causes problems for the traffic on the road, amongst them a crashed police car. Airplanes stand still at Schiphol Airport.
