Week number 50-05

Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.

The winter is here: overview of the ice fun and ice troubles that go along with it and the funny solutions some have for ice troubles. - Several shots of beginning and experienced skaters on ice in nature as well as ice rinks; children throw snowballs; others go cross-country skiing; people (including children) ride sleds or go ice sailing; - ducks have a hard time walking around and near the ice; a child was hit by too many snowballs and cries; because of the slippery road a car hit a tree; a cyclist falls; - a pedestrian falls when he leaves his house; the pedestrian goes back inside and comes back with a bag of sand (?) in his hands; he is on his way and puts a hand of sand (?) in front of him before he takes a step; a group of pedestrians follows his footsteps, literally.
