Exhibition of paintings by Rembrandt in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on the occasion of his 300th day of death. The painting The sacrifice of Abraham from the Hermitage in Leningrad is unwrapped. The painting Claudius Civilis from Stockholm arrives by police escort at the museum and is taken inside and unwrapped. Also with a self-portrait at age 46, Jeremiah lamenting the destruction of Jerusalem, The resting of Joseph and Maria during their flight to Egypt, The wedding of Samson, Woman in bed, Bathsheba reading David's letter, a children's portrait and Sitting old man.
