Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
During World War II the Germans transported all the installations of the rolling mill for heavy plates of the Hoogovens in IJmuiden to Germany. Huysmans, visits the rolling mill and watches how workers transform heavy massive blocks of steel into large steel plates with furnaces and large rollers. SHOTS: - ext. factory installations Hoogovens; - int. rolling mill; 00:33 Huysmans (middle).
