Week number 48-04
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Traffic lessons for viewers. SHOTS: a traffic participant, named Jansen (played by actor Rob de Vries), lands himself in hospital by his own stupidity (when a cycler doesn't give right of way to fast traffic). As a result of this accident a number of right of way situations are shown with examples of how one does and doesn't act in these situations. Warning shots are also shown: Jansen lies in bed with a splinted leg, crash between a cyclist and a motorist, an ambulance transports the victims, churchyard with graves, nurses transport the traffic victims on a stretcher to the operating room, surgical instruments are ready, operation team at work.
