Reopening of Madurodam after the winter season. With several new buildings, a.o. the George Maduro barracks, a gift of the Ministry of War, for which State Secretary Kranenburg hoists the flag. Also a modern residential area, a beach and a cracking plant for the production of gasoline. On the day of the opening, children liberate Gulliver, who had been captured by Lilliputians.
