The last work is done on the reclamation of the Northeast Polder. SHOTS: - The historical development of the Wieringermeer Polder and the Northeast Polder are shown on a topographical map; - several shots of the grand landscape of the polder: (undeveloped) fields with ditches and canals; bridges and roads with one single car; scattered farms; haystacks; - men's legs, in boots, walks on the swampy ground; - the soil is ploughed: a very heavy plough, pulled by three tractors, makes deep furrows; - streetshots of the main town Emmeloord; - a machine, pulled by a tractor, makes dead straight channels in the ground; - drainpipes drain into the channels.
