The Royal Navy contibutes to the UN fleet in the water of Korea. The "Evertsen" has been there for ten months already. The torpedo-boat hunter "Van Galen" now departs from Den Helder to relieve this ship. SHOTS: - The ship lays in front of the quay; relatives go aboard and bid them farewell; - the ship unmoors and departs, waved at by the stay-behinds.
