President Isaac Ben Zwi of Israel and his wife are welcomed at Schiphol Airport by H.A. Cidor, Israelian ambassador, zionist youth organisations and Prime Minister Willem Drees. He lays a wreath at the National Monument on Dam Square in Amsterdam, helped by Cidor and his adjutant and in the presence of Chief Rabbi Aron Schuster. Later on he attends a short memorial service for the killed Jews in the Hollandsche Schouwburg, at which Schuster says a prayer.
