The Aruban resistance fighter Boy Ecury, who was executed in the Netherlands during World War II, has been brought to Aruba by the marine vessel "Van Speijk". There he is buried with militairy honour on the cemetery of Oranjestad. There is a large public interest as the funeral procession, with a.o. soldiers and clergymen, moves through the streets to the cemetery. Carriers let the coffin into the burial pit with ropes. 00:53 Governor of Curaçao, P.A. Kasteel.
