In honour of the executed resistance fighter Jan Thijssen the "Vlietweg" is renamed "Jan Thijssenweg" in a solemn manner near his house "Drievliet" in his place of residence Rijswijk. The mayor of Rijswijk, mr. J.A.G.M. van Hellenberg Hubar, does the unveiling of the new sign.
