Remembrance Day at Fort de Bilt, a 19th century militairy fort near Utrecht. During the Second World War it was occupied by the Germans and resistance fighters were executed there. SHOTS: ext. Fort de Bilt; int.: grave crosses; at the grave monument in the courtyard a memorial ceremony is held by civilians and soldiers; the trumpet is blown; soldiers stand to attention; former members of the resistance lay a wreath; mothers and widows lay flowers.
