Week number 47-21
Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
Former French resistance fighters that fought against the Germans in Zeeland at the May days of 1940, hold a commemoration ceremony for their on Walcheren fallen comrades at a French war cemetery in Kapelle. A French flag flies half-mast. Dutch and French soldiers and civilians listen to a speech by the French ambassador(?) Rivière. A man holds a moment of silence at the monument and then makes a walk-round the graves with company, followed by inhabitants of Zeeland. 00:22 from right to left French colonel and colonel Metting van Rijn(?).
