The Polytechnic in Delft is the center of government for one day. Prime Minister J.E. de Quay and the ministers have their picture taken in front of the main building. Then they take a look at thehydrodynamic laboratory, with a.o. prof. Jelle Zijlstra, Minister of Finance, and mr. A.C.W. Beerman, Minister of Justice. Prof. Theo Thijsse explains the current model of the North Sea. Also with scale models of the Grevelingen area which is part of the Deltaplan, the Europoort and the harbour of IJmuiden.
